For community groups, markets & local businesses

Bring local food to your neighbourhood.

Homegrown lets you turn any food-safe space into a drop point for local farms and food producers. Vendors manage their own inventory, orders, and customer relationships. You provide the location, on terms that make sense for you.
People holding baskets of fresh vegetables
Local farms need to get food to their customers, and shoppers need more convenient options. A commercial kitchen, a corner store, or a farm stand — a little space in the right place can make it happen.
How it works
From spare space to local food.
1
Set up your hub
Add your address, the hours people can collect, and how to find you. You get a dedicated Hub Page where customers can learn about you, and shop everything available at your location.
2
Bring in local producers
Invite farms and food producers yourself, or let them find you through the app. Choose who can drop off at your location, and review required documentation before approving.
3
Open for orders
Neighbours choose you as their pickup location and shop every producer in a single checkout. Orders arrive paid and ready for collection.

Why host
A new revenue stream, without new risk.
Sold before it arrives
Buyers pay up front, so everything that reaches you is already sold. No stock to buy, no markup to set, and no spoilage.
Producers do the work
Each producer handles their own listings, inventory and customers. Orders usually arrive within a day of pickup. All you have to do is hold them until they're collected.
More people through your door
Every pickup brings in a customer who cares about local food. For shops, that's a new customer browsing your shelves. For non-profits, it's community engagement.
Monetize hard-to-stock items
CSA boxes, bulk meat and small-batch seasonal goods sell well by pre-order and poorly off a shelf. Producers sell them through you, alongside everything you already offer.
You choose who sells
Producers apply to join and you approve or decline. Ask for what you need first, from food safety certificates to liability insurance.
Found by buyers and producers
Buyers nearby see your hub when they browse, and local producers can find it and request to join. Today's drop-off vendor could be tomorrow's supplier.
Ways to run it
A hub can be a market, a co-op, or the shop down the street.
Call it a food hub, a market or a pickup location — choose the model that matches how yours works. You can change it later.
Collaborative
Farmers-market style. Each producer packs and hands over their own orders at your location.
Producers run their own pickups
Great for markets and shared stalls
Light-touch for organizers
Managed
Co-op style. Producers drop off, and your team hands orders to buyers and marks them complete.
See every producer's orders for a pickup day
Complete orders on producers' behalf
Built for co-ops and food hubs with staff
Drop point
For grocers, cafés and other local businesses. Producers drop off orders, and buyers collect them from your counter.
Brings new customers through your door
Needs a shelf or a cooler, not a warehouse
Earn a fee on every order
